New Year – New Volunteer Opportunities
As 2010 begins, it is the perfect time to look at new opportunities, and volunteering at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />AllianceCommunityHospital is one of those special opportunities!

“We have such a large number of service areas at ACH, we are able to place volunteers in an area that they will find both fulfilling and enjoyable. We work directly with each individual's schedule, and then place them according to the times that work best for them,†explains Marcy Todd, volunteer coordinator.
With over 50 service areas, the variety of volunteering experiences is outstanding. For general purposes, these areas are divided into clerical, patient-centered and service.
“In order to better prepare our volunteers, we host a monthly orientation session that provides all of the information they need to make a determination of whether or not this will be a good opportunity for them. We also spend part of the session discussing the Planetree concept that sets ACH apart from other medical facilities.â€
On Tuesday, January 5th, the monthly “Ventures into Volunteering†will be held in conference room 1-A of the hospital from 1:00 p.m. until approximately 4:30 p.m. Anyone interested in attending is asked to make reservations by calling the Volunteering Department at 330-596-7822.
