Hlivko to Present at ACH Lecture and Luncheon
Jonathan Hlivko, MD, gastroenterologist at Alliance Community Hospital (ACH), will present “What You Need to Know about Colorectal Cancer and the Importance of Screenings” on Friday, March 17 at noon in the McAlister Community Room of ACH.
Hlivko, who began practicing in Alliance in the fall of 2015, previously practiced in the Department of Gastroenterology at Summa Health System/ Akron City Hospital. His education and training includes bachelors and masters degrees from Miami University and a Doctor of Medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
While at Summa, he earned the Department of Medicine Resident of the Year as well as the Department of Medicine Professionalism Award. Active in the profession, he is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy as well as the American Gastroenterological Association and is the author of numerous publications.
