Blood Drive Honoring Our Military Men and Women
On Monday, May 30th, a special blood drive will be held at Alliance Community Hospitalto honor those men and women who have made our freedom possible.
The Memorial Day weekend is the perfect time to say “thank you” to those individuals who have chosen to defend our country so that we can enjoy the many freedoms America offers. Everyone is encouraged to make the effort to donate blood on May 30th as a way of saying “thank you” to our veterans.
The drive will be held in the hospital conference room 1-A from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Donors must be at least 17 years of age (unless a parent/guardian has provided a signed release for a 16-year old), weigh no less than 110 pounds and be in general good health the day of the donation. A picture ID or blood donor card is also required at registration.
Appointments are encouraged, and donors can schedule their own appointment by going online at www.achosp.org to register or by contacting the volunteer department at the hospital and the staff will be happy to schedule an appointment for individuals. The phone number is 330-596-7822 or 330-596-7821.
