ACH Honors Physicians on Doctor’s Day
Last Friday, March 30th, the Board of Trustees and Administration/Management of Alliance Community Hospital set aside some time to honor its staff and affiliated physicians.
In honor of the national celebration of Doctor’s Day, ACH physicians were recognized and congratulated by staff members, volunteers and visitors with well wishes, banners, a meal and cake and coffee in the hospital’s main conference room.
“For all they do to improve the lives and quality of life of so many every day, we wanted to offer a small token of our deep appreciation and admiration,” said Patty Kimerer, PWE and Public Relations/Foundation Director for the hospital.
Doctor’s Day was first established in February of 1991 when former President George H.W. Bush declared the 30th of March as National Doctor’s Day in order to “recognize our nation's physicians for their leadership in the prevention and treatment of illness and injury.”
